Poipu Beach

All of the accommodations we represent are located in the Poipu Beach area. Poipu Beach is located on the southern shore of the island and is known as the "Sunny Side of Paradise". It has the best beaches on Kauai, if not the world, and a wide range of accommodations and activities. You will find great restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. Golf, tennis, horseback riding, kayaking, snorkeling, surfing and hiking are just some of the activities you will find nearby. We will furnish you a list of great companies and places to see and go when you rent with us.

In the following sections you can read a little about the accommodations we have for your review. Although there are some differences among these units, they are all fully furnished, have full kitchens and laundry facilities. They come with sheets, bedding and towels. Although some are closer to the beach than others, none are more than a 5-7 minute walk to the beach.

All units are nonsmoking and this policy is strictly enforced. We will be happy to tell you more when you contact us.

Morrison's Poipu Kai Condos

These units are part of an 84 acre resort complex, containing several different condominium developments as well as some single-family homes. It is beautifully landscaped and has a lovely greenbelt pathway that winds thru the resort. You can walk from the Hyatt hotel and Shipwreck beach down to Poipu Beach at the opposite end. The resort has an excellent tennis facility with 8 courts and a central swimming pool. In addition to this pool, each one of the condominium developments has their own pool.

Regency at Poipu Kai

The Regency at Poipu Kai has some of the newest and largest units in the Poipu Beach area. We represent a number of 2 and 3 bedroom units. All of these units are garden views. They are quite large, with full kitchens and light and airy living spaces. The Regency has 2 pools and Jacuzzis (in addition to the Poipu Kai central pool) and BBQ facilities.

Poipu Sands at Poipu Kai

Poipu Sands benefits from having beautiful ocean views and expansive grounds. It also has one of the largest pools in Poipu Kai, which is also the only heated pool in the area.

Makahuena

The Makahuena condominiums sit on a beautiful bluff above the ocean. They have great ocean views and the units we represent have been completely refurbished in 2004. They are beautifully furnished and are quite superior to anything you can find in this complex. We have both a 2 and 3 bedroom unit available, situated right next door to each other. The complex has a very nice pool and Jacuzzi and 1 tennis court. We also have a 2 bedroom oceanfront.

Nihi Kai

This resort is right across the street from Brennecke's Beach and a short walk to Poipu Beach Park. A pool and tennis courts are on the grounds. We have a very nice, recently upgraded 2 bedroom 2 bath ocean view unit available in this complex. #704

Sunset Kahili

Located on a bluff above the ocean, Sunset Kahili offers the most affordable ocean view units in the Poipu beach area. All of the units we represent have been upgraded and although not large, they all have nice lanais and are nicely furnished. This complex has many repeat clients, who return year after year. It has a small pool and a nice BBQ area. We have both 1 and 2 bedroom units available.

Kauai Condos – Who We Are

My name is Pamela Morrison, and as the owner of Kauai Condos I have been in the business of renting vacation accommodations in Poipu Beach for over 10 years. My rental pool is fairly small and select. I personally inspect each unit at least twice a year and can tell you exactly how each unit is furnished and equipped.

I have housekeeping and maintenance people on the island and they keep me informed on the condition of each unit. I am also in touch with each of the individual owners and let them know if any maintenance or upgrading is required.

The result is that I will be able to reserve a specific unit for you and tell you what that unit has in the way of bedding, appliances and other features. Some of the larger rental companies will not guarantee you a specific unit. I pride myself on providing a very personal touch and I am always available to answer any of your questions.

I have been a member of the Hawaii Visitors Bureau for over 10 years.
